Not polished case studies after the work is finished. These are the cars as we actually deal with them — incomplete, awkward and evolving as the workshop gets through them.
Our 1970 VW Beetle-based Nova is the project at the centre of the workshop: canopy entry, air-cooled running gear, hydraulics, bodywork and a planned deep metallic purple finish.
This one is not being rushed. We want the engineering underneath to deserve the shape on top.

It looks spectacular. Underneath, the aftermarket ECU is no good, the wiring has been butchered and the modified 7M-GTE has never run for us.
The plan starts with returning the ECU and wiring to a known, trustworthy baseline before Luke can properly get into the mechanical side.

The bed came off, the rear axle came out and what looked like an old working truck turned into a proper underside restoration.
The chassis and axle have been restored, with suspension, brakes and brake lines being renewed as it goes back together.
